Foundation for Greentech Environmental Systems is a non-profit advisory organisation. It has been promoted by a group of highly qualified professionals with several person-years of consulting experience in the infrastructure and environment sectors cross cutting rural and urban development. We endeavour to provide sustainable and robust solutions for the intricate problems of environment through innovative approaches.

Areas of work

The Foundation works for engineering the ecological security. It deploys its strengths and resources in the areas of natural resources management, specifically in:

• Water and sanitation
• River and lake pollution control
• Energy and environment
• Solid waste management
• Promotion of Home Composting through an innovative bin and communication approach, and
• Prevention of land degradation, desertification, wasteland rehabilitation and promotion of sacred groves

The Foundation aims to eventually create ‘green income generating opportunities’ for the poor so as to help them gain a sustained access to resources and attain a dignified standard of living.
