Review mission on low cost sanitation under Yamuna Action Plan

JBIC fielded a mission to review the urban low cost sanitation component of the Yamuna Action Plan. The Foundation for Greentech Environmental Systems was engaged by the Hosei University to conduct a field research study on user perception and utilisation of community toilet complexes which were constructed under project. Around 200 families were covered in the cities of Delhi and Agra to assess the causes of underutilisation and dysfunction of most of such public conveniences.
